Falz, the popular Nigerian rapper whose real name is Folarin Falana, recently underwent knee surgery in the United Kingdom.
Sharing the details on his Instagram page, he explained that he had sustained an injury to his anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) while playing football in November 2022.
The surgery took place on May 2, 2023, at a medical facility in London. Falz expressed his current state and the journey towards full recovery, requesting prayers from his followers.
In a video, he recounted the incident, mentioning that it happened on November 23, 2022, while playing football. He shared that he experienced significant pain and subsequent MRI results confirmed a complete tear of his ACL, necessitating surgical intervention.
After around 1.5 hours, the ACL reconstruction surgery was successfully performed under local and general anesthesia.
