In spite of the challenging economic conditions in the country, members of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) in Imo State have made a significant contribution to their community.

These corps members who are part of the Charity Community Development Service (CDS) group, were observed distributing fuel to local motorcyclists, commonly known as “okada riders,” in Dikenafai, Ideato South Local Government Area, Imo State.

The Community Development Service (CDS) represents one of the core initiatives of the NYSC, wherein corps members actively participate in the betterment of their host communities during their national service tenure.

Calling on the public to carry out good deeds as well, the corps members urged all to “try and help others in these period of hardship and anger the country is experiencing”.
