Man arrested in this State for possessing 13 stolen ATM cards

The Adamawa State Police Command apprehended Abubakar Tasi’u Tanimu, a 31-year-old resident of Tsohon Kasuwa, with a collection of stolen items.

These included 13 ATM cards from various banks, a national identity card, and a wallet filled with documents.

SP Suleiman Nguroje, spokesperson for the Command, revealed that the arrest took place on December 29, 2023, near Jambutu Motor Park, Jimeta, Yola, by officers from the Department of State Intelligence. He said,

“Investigation reveals that the suspect stole the items from Tsohon Kasuwa Mayo Belwa Local Government Area.”

Nguroje confirmed that the suspect, who was attempting to sell the items at a shopping complex, will face legal proceedings once the investigation concludes.
