NFSAN applauds President Tinubu’s leadership in advancing student loan access

The National Female Students Association of Nigeria (NFSAN) has officially announced its endorsement of the new bill aimed at granting access to loans for all students. This measure is anticipated to bridge the gender gap in educational attainment and foster positive economic outcomes.

In a statement made available by NFSAN’s national president, Comrade Joyce Enebeli Uchenna, the association expressed gratitude to the President of Nigeria for championing this bill, highlighting his leadership and dedication to education.

NFSAN is committed to advocating for the rights of female students and collaboratively working towards a brighter future for women and girls in Nigeria. The association looks forward to collaborating with stakeholders to ensure the successful implementation of this bill, further enhancing educational opportunities for all students across the nation.

The statement reads in full:

“The National Female Students Association of Nigeria (NFSAN), is pleased to announce its support for the new bill that will provide access to loans for all students.

We believe this measure will close the gender gap in educational attainment and have a positive impact on the economy. We are proud to advocate for the rights of female students and to work towards a brighter future for the next generation of women and girls.

“We also want to express our gratitude to the President of Nigeria for championing this bill. His leadership and commitment to education are an inspiration to us all.

We look forward to working together to ensure the success of this bill and to continue improving educational opportunities for all students in Nigeria.”
