A Nigerian lady has shared a surprising revelation about her cousin, who happens to be a medical doctor. According to her account, the doctor paid a whopping N1.5 million as bride price, along with an additional N60,000 to obtain the marriage item list.
The reason behind this substantial sum, as explained by the bride’s family, is that their daughter is a ‘graduate.’
In her post on Saturday, October 28, the lady wrote, “Today, my cousin paid 1.5 million as bride price and 60k to collect the list plus the things on the list. The girl’s family insisted on the 1.5 million because she’s a ‘graduate.’ Despite my cousin being a Medical Doctor and Surgeon, it didn’t seem to matter to them.”
