Edo State Governor, Senator Monday Okpebholo, has commended the people of Ondo State for electing Lucky Aiyedatiwa of the All Progressives Congress (APC) as their governor in last Saturday’s governorship election.

In a congratulatory message issued through his Chief Press Secretary, Fred Itua, Governor Okpebholo described Aiyedatiwa’s victory as a testament to the confidence reposed in his leadership capabilities by the people of Ondo State.

The Edo governor expressed optimism about fostering strong regional collaboration between Edo and Ondo States to promote development and peace.

“I congratulate my friend and brother, Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa of Ondo State, for emerging victorious in last Saturday’s governorship election.

“His victory is a good omen, and I am certain that we will work closely together to bring peace and development to our dear States as good neighbours”, he stated.

Governor Okpebholo also applauded Ondo voters for entrusting Aiyedatiwa with the mandate to govern, expressing confidence in his ability to deliver transformative leadership that will benefit not only the people of Ondo but also Nigeria at large.

While congratulating the governor-elect, Okpebholo called on stakeholders to rally behind the incoming administration to ensure the realization of its developmental agenda.

The Edo State Governor further extended prayers for wisdom and strength for Aiyedatiwa as he prepares to steer the affairs of Ondo State for the next four years.
