In a decisive show of support, Alex Ohaegbunem, the son of former Aniocha North local government chairman Chief Emeke Ohaegbunem, has publicly endorsed the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) chairmanship candidate, Hon. Emma Chinye, along with all 20 PDP councilorship candidates in Aniocha North.
Ohaegbunem, recognized as a passionate and energetic supporter of the PDP, praised the party’s pre election process for identifying the most suitable candidates for the upcoming local government election on July 13. Despite the rigorous nature of the process, he emphasized that the outcomes were highly commendable.
He expressed his strong backing for Hon. Chinye, highlighting Chinye’s political experience, exposure, and youth-friendly approach as key factors that will contribute to the local government’s progress under his leadership. Ohaegbunem, himself a youth, believes that Chinye’s leadership will bring a positive transformation to the local government.
With the election just days away, Ohaegbunem conveyed his confidence in the success of the PDP candidates, attributing his optimism to the diligent efforts of the party’s leadership. He commended the contributions of the party’s senatorial chairman Elder Moses Iduh, local government party chairman, Dr. Charles Ochei, Comrade Ifeanyi Egwunyenga, Ward 6 party chairman, Mr. Ikem Adigwe, the campaign organization team led by Hon. Emeke Nwaobi, and all the leaders for their relentless work in ensuring a successful campaign.
Notably, Ohaegbunem has been actively involved in the campaign, moving from ward to ward to show his support for the PDP candidates since the campaign’s flag off. On Tuesday, July 9, the campaign train reached his home ward – ward 6, where he was prominently present and vocal in his endorsement.
