The Department of State Services (DSS) has taken the step of arraigning Godwin Emefiele, the former governor of the Central Bank (CBN), before a court of law.
Emefiele had been in detention since his suspension by President Bola Tinubu a month ago. The DSS apprehended him at his Lagos residence and transported him to Abuja via a private jet. On Tuesday morning, July 25, he was presented before a Federal High Court in Ikoyi, Lagos.
