ICYMI: Private aircraft crashes, bursts into flames in Ikeja, Lagos (Video)

On Tuesday, August 1, 2023, a private aircraft crashed on Oba Akran Avenue, Ikeja, Lagos, between AP filling station and UBA Bank.

The helicopter caught fire upon crash-landing. Emergency services including Lagos Fire Service, RRS, LASTMA, and FAAN have responded to the scene. The fate of the aircraft’s passengers remains unknown. More details to follow.
