Top Nigerian Afrobeat singer, David Adeleke aka Davido is set to entertain fans and music lovers through his ‘Timeless’ concert to be held in Abuja and Ibom Air is to partner with the organisers for the top gig.
Apitainment, a premium events brand and managers of Davido Timeless Concert, in a statement said that the partnership is a significant milestone “in providing music lovers and outgoers attending the concert with a seamless travel experience from Lagos to Abuja.”
The organisers maintained that music fans and travellers interested in attending the Timeless Concert, can purchase a special ticket class called “Davido’s Timeless Special” valid for travel between December 13th and 15th, 2023 even as the flight ticket portal opens for booking on December 7, 2023 for attendees to travel from Lagos to Abuja.
Speaking on the development, Group Manager, Marketing and Communication, Ibom Air, Aniekan Essienette reiterated the airline’s resolve to ensure utmost experience.
“We are happy to partner with Davido’s Timeless Abuja Concert to offer attendees a unique and enhanced travel experience. Our partnership underscores Ibom Air’s commitment to providing innovative and convenient solutions for our valued passengers.”
“Passengers would have the rare privilege of being one of the first-time flyers of Ibom Air’s Airbus A220-300, equipped with Wi-Fi, In-seat power, and overhead video display.
The Timeless Concert with Davido is slated for December 14th, 2023, at 7 p.m., Eagle Square, Abuja, he said.
Also speaking, the Chief Executive Officer, of Apitainment, Adewunmi Segun Gabriel noted that Apitanment aimed at promoting hospitality for Nigerians at home and in diaspora this festive season, is partnering with Ibom Air for this monumental event.
“We believe this partnership will take us miles further in making the timeless concert, Abuja a success. The airline is a preference for the Timeless concert due to its unparalleled customer service,” he said.
Davido, had announced that his Timeless tour would return to Nigeria in December 2023, as he confirmed three end-of-year concert dates.
The ‘Unavailable’ crooner confirmed on social media that he would be performing once again in Abuja, Port Harcourt and Lagos.
The first stop has been confirmed for Abuja, and it will take place on December 14, 2023, at Eagle Square. The next stop will be in Port Harcourt on December 17, 2023, where he will perform at the iconic Yakubu Gowon Stadium for fans before closing a successful year for the singer and his team in Lagos on December 24, 2023, at the Eko Convention Center in Lagos.
