Multiple vehicle collision on Lagos-Ibadan expressway leaves 13 injured

A total of 13 individuals sustained injuries in a multiple-vehicle accident on Sunday at Car Park C along the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway in Ogun State.

The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) in Ogun, through its spokesperson, Mrs. Florence Okpe, confirmed the incident, stating that it occurred at 4:55 am.

”A total of five vehicles were involved which includes three trucks, a Toyota Corolla marked MUS 793 HM, and a Toyota Hiace bus with registration number FG 369-F20,” she said.

Okpe highlighted that the injured victims were promptly transported to Famobis Hospital Mowe for medical attention.

The FRSC’s state Sector Commander, Anthony Uga, emphasized the importance of caution and defensive driving, urging motorists to prioritize safety on the road.
