Elon Musk names Linda Yaccarino as Twitter’s new CEO

Elon Musk revealed Linda Yaccarino, an advertising executive, as the freshly appointed Chief Executive Officer of Twitter.

Yaccarino had previously served as the chairman of global advertising and partnerships at NBCUniversal, accumulating over a decade of experience there.

Musk took to his Twitter account to announce the news on Friday.

In a tweet, he expressed, “I am thrilled to welcome Linda Yaccarino as the new CEO of Twitter!”

“#LindaYacc will focus primarily on business operations, while I focus on product design & new technology. “Looking forward to working with Linda to transform this platform into X, the everything app.” Musk had earlier hinted about a new Twitter female CEO on Thursday.
