In a touching online celebration, a Nigerian woman, Ariella, is being lauded for giving away her adopted daughter, Lulu, in marriage. Ariella shared the touching story on Instagram, revealing that Lulu entered her household eight years ago as a nanny for her children.

Ariella recounted that, shortly after Lulu began working, she requested Ariella to be her mother, having lost her own. Ariella embraced the role wholeheartedly, taking on the responsibilities of a mother and even empowering Lulu by establishing a fashion school for her.

Sharing pictures from the wedding, Ariella expressed her emotions.

Lulu came to my home as the children’s nanny. ‘Please be my mummy. I don’t have a mum’ she said.

Her mum was late.

And mummy I became.

Disciplinarian and all.

She went to fashion school for 2 years.

I set up her own fashion outfit. Now she has students. Today… I gave her over to a good man. A man who loves and values her and takes me as mummy too.

Gosh!! My heart is full. My daughter is married.”
