Former Managing Director of the Nigeria Ports Authority, Arch Aminu Dabo, leading a delegation from Dambatta and Makoda communities, expressed gratitude to the Ministry of Transportation’s Said Alkali for approving a new railway station in Dambatta. Dabo highlighted the significance, stating,

“The Kano-Maradi Rail project is a crucial infrastructure initiative aimed at enhancing transportation and connectivity within the region.”

The approval, in line with President Bola Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda, was acknowledged by Hon Hamisu Ibrahim Chidari, the member representing Dambatta/Makoda Federal Constituency. He credited Deputy Senate President Barau Jubrin CON, saying,

“The effort of Deputy Senate President Barau Jubrin CON in advocating for the railway station in Dambatta is instrumental.”

Dabo emphasized the positive impact, stating,

“The inclusion of a railway station in Dambatta is expected to facilitate economic growth, improve access to transportation, and create new opportunities for trade and development in the area.”

The visit of the Dambatta Makoda communities to the Ministry of Transportation underscores collaborative efforts, demonstrating the positive impact that collaborative efforts between government officials and local representatives can have on addressing the infrastructure needs of communities and fostering regional progress.
