In a shocking and distressing incident, unknown assailants have reportedly strangled Madam Juliana Dimaka, a prominent businesswoman, to death within her residence in Eket Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom.

According to an insider who spoke to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on October 24, 2023, Madam Dimaka fell victim to this heinous act on October 17, following multiple unsuccessful attempts on her life.

The source disclosed, “The murder took place at the home of the deceased on Etebom Avenue in Eket, executed by unidentified individuals who gained entry into her residence and committed the heinous act by strangling her.”

This tragic event unfolded at 8:00 p.m. on that fateful day, and it has since forced the closure of her shopping plaza situated on Grace Bill Road in Eket.

When questioned about the incident, SP MacDon Odiko, the spokesperson of the State Police Command, responded,
