FIFA investigation looms as PSG accuses Real Madrid of illegally approaching Mbappe

According to the UK Telegraph, Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) is preparing to lodge a complaint with FIFA against Real Madrid for a potential illegal tapping up of Kylian Mbappe.

Mbappe has expressed his unwillingness to extend his contract with PSG beyond June 2024. The extension clause in his current contract expired on July 31, leaving him set to become a free agent in the summer of 2024.

Reports suggest that Real Madrid may have already reached an agreement with Mbappe, offering the player a substantial €160 million signing-on fee if he joins the LaLiga giants. However, such agreements are prohibited by FIFA, as they involve contacting a player without first seeking permission from his current club.
