Atiku appears before PEPC for final written addresses

The Presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Alhaji Abubakar Atiku, appeared before the Presidential Election Petition Court (PEPC) on Tuesday, where parties were preparing to adopt their final written addresses.

This step is essential in determining the judgment date for Atiku and the PDP’s petition challenging the outcome of the Feb. 25 presidential election. The court had directed the parties to submit their final arguments and appear for adoption.

Atiku and Mr. Peter Obi of the Labour Party both contested the election results and claimed victory, challenging the eligibility of President Bola Tinubu to participate. They are requesting the court to nullify the election and call for a fresh presidential election without President Tinubu’s inclusion.
