Fast rising Nigerian singer and songwriter, Spyro, has taken to his Instagram handle to appreciate late musician, Sound Sultan for his exceptional loving nature.
In the post which he made in the late hours of Friday, 21 April, Spyro stated that he missed the veteran Nigerian artist and that he cannot count his blessings without him.
“I miss you mentor. I cannot count my blessings without you. Today, thoughts of how you fed me, clothed me and accepted me when nobody did came rushing back.
“I remember a night we were to go for an event and as usual, I came so unkept and fashion-less but while others laughed me, you went up to your room and brought your cloth down for me to wear.
“I wish you’re here to see all that is happening. I remember how I would always tell you I would make you proud and it is sad you ain’t here now.
“Thank you for all you thought me and did for me. Till we meet again, rest on in power #soundsultan.” The post read.
Nigerian rapper, singer and songwriter, Sound Sultan, passed on 11 July, 2021, in United States at the age of 44 following a hard-fought battle with Angioimmunoblastic T-cell lymphoma.
