Lagos state police rescue newborn baby girl found in sewage tank

A day-old baby girl was rescued from a sewage tank in Gowon Estate, Lagos State, by the Lagos State Police Command. The rescue took place at approximately 8:30 am on Wednesday, and the baby was promptly taken to a health centre for immediate medical attention.

The police command shared this information on its Twitter page, along with a photo of the child. They stated, “Today, a day-old female baby was discovered in a sewage tank. Officers from Gowon Estate Division swiftly responded to the alert and arrived at the scene. The baby has been taken to a health centre for immediate medical care and is in stable condition.”
