Ned Nwoko honoured with mega homecoming inauguration reception (Photos)

In a remarkable display of gratitude and appreciation, Senator Ned Munir Nwoko, senator representing Delta North senatorial district, celebrated his inauguration not in the nation’s capital, Abuja, but amidst his beloved constituents back home, at Mount Ned, Idumuje-Ugboko, Delta state, on Sunday, June 18.

The reception held at his country home was attended by numerous supporters, along with local political representatives, including the state governor, His Excellency, Rt.Hon.Sheriff Oborevwori, who commended Nwoko’s inclusive leadership.

In his remarks, Governor Oborevwori praised Senator Nwoko for his humble demeanor and his remarkable skill in forging connections with individuals from diverse backgrounds, irrespective of their social standing. The governor eagerly expressed his delight at being present at the event and recognized Senator Nwoko’s choice to host the inauguration reception in his hometown, rather than in the capital city of Abuja, as a demonstration of his dedication to inclusive governance that prioritizes the needs of the local community.

The atmosphere at Senator Nwoko’s home was filled with joy and excitement as constituents gathered to commemorate this significant event. The decision to celebrate locally was seen as a gesture of appreciation towards the people who had entrusted him with their votes.

The presence of the Governor and other political representatives further emphasized the importance of Senator Nwoko’s electoral success and his contributions to their campaigns.

In his speech, Senator Ned Munir Nwoko expressed his deep appreciation for the love, trust, and support he received from his constituents. He humbly acknowledged their belief in his ability to bring positive change and promised to continue working tirelessly to improve their lives.

Emomotimi Guwor, deputy speaker, Rt.Hon Barrister Arthur Akpowowo, Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Dr. Kingsley Emu, People’s Democratic Party (PDP) state chairman, Barrister Kingsley Esiso, Hon. Marilyn Okowa, Hon. Engineer Emeka Nwaobi, Hon. Barrister Bridget Anyafulue, Hon. Frank Esenwa, Hon. Prince Emeka Osamuta, State House of Assembly members representing Ika North-East, Aniocha North, Oshimili South, Oshimili North and Ndokwa East local government areas respectively, Chief Fred Ajudua, Onwa Ibusa, amongst others.

The homecoming inauguration reception became a symbol of unity, as people from all walks of life joined together to honor Senator Nwoko. It showcased the strong bond within the senatorial district and exemplified the shared vision for progress and development.

As the celebration unfolded, it became evident that Senator Nwoko’s inauguration reception was not just a joyous event but a testament to the collective strength and unity of his constituency. The outpouring of support from the people and their political representatives solidified his place as a respected and cherished leader in his senatorial district.
