Pre-recorded election results and bribery scandal unveiled in Okehi Local Government ahead of voting

In a startling discovery, pre-recorded election result sheets declaring Usman Ododo of the All Progressive Congress (APC) as the winner were found at the Near Ogogo Compound polling unit in Okehi local government before the voting even began on Saturday.

SaharaReporters observers identified similar sheets, revealing a dubious attempt to influence the electoral process. The results indicated APC scoring 532, while other parties like AA and SDP had just 1 valid vote each, with no scores allotted to other political contenders.

Further investigation revealed that those responsible for the pre-recorded results were allegedly offering bribes to agents of opposing parties to endorse the manipulated documents.

Additionally, instances of voting-buying, with APC agents reportedly offering voters sums ranging from N10,000 to N20,000, were observed in the local government area.

The report also highlighted protests at Ikenegbu Girls Polling Unit in Imo State, where Polling Unit officers trained on BVAS were replaced, sparking concerns of election manipulation in favor of the ruling APC.
