According to the Telegraph, Arsenal is in the process of formulating a club-record offer of £92 million for West Ham’s captain, Declan Rice. However, it is understood that West Ham is seeking a substantial upfront payment for the transfer fee.

Despite competition from Manchester United, Arsenal remains optimistic about reaching an agreement with West Ham and securing the services of Rice during the summer transfer window. The Gunners have prioritized Rice as their top target and are determined to make a strong effort to bring the talented English international to the Emirates.

With the current season nearing its conclusion without any silverware, Arteta is already focusing on the upcoming campaign. He intends to strengthen the squad in necessary areas to ensure improved performances in the next season.
