The distinguished lawmaker representing Delta North senatorial district, Senator Ned Munir Nwoko, is set to commence a myriad of diverse projects across the nine local government areas of Delta North following the approval of the 2024 federation budget.

In fulfillment of his promise to the people of Anioma and considering the peculiarities of the people, Senator Ned Nwoko strategically facilitated landmark projects spanning health, education, commerce, agriculture, energy, infrastructure, sports and empowerment in his constituency.

These large-scale projects, as approved, include the establishment of the Federal University of Medical and Health Sciences, renovation and construction of administrative blocks in schools, empowerment of livestock farmers, construction of water projects (boreholes), construction and maintenance of dams, installation of solar streetlights/renewable energy lamp posts, rehabilitation of failed sections of federal roads, construction of jetties, skill acquisition programs for women and youths, rehabilitation of police station, construction of mini sports stadium, equipping of primary health care centres, medical outreach programs, ecological projects and the second Niger bridge bypass.

However, many more projects, such as construction and rehabilitation of roads across the Senatorial District, are expected to come under NDDC, whose budget is yet to be approved.

To ensure equality, these projects span across the three federal constituencies in the senatorial district as well as the nine local governments of the district.

These multidimensional projects aim to reduce disparities, enhance accessibility to essential infrastructure, boost workforce abilities to foster productivity, increase employment opportunities, improve food security, enhance quality healthcare, encourage physical activities, and promote community engagement in Anioma.

These projects will be awarded by relevant Agencies of Government in line with due process while the implementation will be closely monitored by the Distinguished Senator and his team to ensure they’re executed in line with prescribed standards.

The visionary lawmaker has emphasized on various occasions that his system of governance is an open system, and he is always ready to embrace judicious and sustainable initiatives suggested, irrespective of his mapped out plans for the growth and development of Delta North.
