Arrest made in connection to “mummy calm down” boy’s mother’s suicide in Edo State

Following the online disclosure of Mrs. Toluige Olokoobi’s tragic suicide, the Edo State Police Command has arrested her husband.

The spokesperson, Chidi Nwabuzor, revealed that the husband, who alerted neighbors to the incident, is currently in police custody. The deceased woman’s body has been placed in the mortuary, and further investigations are set to take place at the State CID.

Nwabuzor said, “He alerted the neighbours who followed him to the hospital where she was confirmed dead. He’s still with the police and will soon be transferred to the State CID for further investigation.”
