Christmas: FG releases list of companies to reduce transportation cost (See Here)

The Federal Government has released the list of companies that will participate in the reduction of transportation fare to ease the burden on Nigerians during the festive season.

Special Adviser to President Bola Tinubu on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, disclosed this development on Thursday in a post on his X handle.

Onanuga named five transportation companies as those that will be partnering with the FG to execute the scheme.

According to him, they are GIG (God is Good), Chisco Transport, Young Shall Grow, God Bless Ezenwata, and Area Motor.

His post read; “Participating companies in the FG’s plan to reduce the transport burden of travelling 5 million Nigerians:

1.GIG ( God is Good)
2. Chisco Transport
3. Young Shall Grow
4. God Bless Ezenwata
5. Area Motor.”

SavvyNews reported that Tinubu had announced a 50 per cent cut in the fares charged by commercial buses on inter-state routes during the Yuletide.
