The Labour Party and its presidential candidate, Peter Obi, have presented some presidential election results to the court in Abuja, in support of their claim against the victory of President Bola Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress (APC). The lead counsel to Obi informed the court on Friday of additional evidence which they desired to present.

During the proceedings, evidence (election results) from Rivers and Kogi states was presented, including certified true copies of INEC election results from six local government areas (LGAs) in Rivers. Results from Niger, Adamawa, Oyo, Bayelsa, and Edo states were also tendered by the LP and additional certified true copies of election results from Bida LGA of Niger and 21 LGAs in Adamawa were presented.

The first, second and third respondents objected to the admissibility of the evidence, but the court admitted the documents as evidence, pending the arguments of the respondents who opposed their admissibility.
