Davido has played a significant role in introducing Afrobeats to a global audience, thanks to his collaborations with renowned international artists like Chris Brown, Young Thug, Lil Baby, Nas, and Nicki Minaj.

During a recent interview on the Bootleg Kev Podcast, Davido expressed his close bond with Chris Brown and their multiple collaborations. He disclosed his immense joy in being in the studio with Chris Brown, emphasizing that they have already recorded more than 10 songs together.

“Every time I’m in the studio with Chris, it’s pure happiness. He not only collaborates with you but also shoots videos and takes you on tour. He’s constantly brimming with fresh ideas.”

When asked about his ideal partner for a collaboration album, Davido enthusiastically named Chris Brown, revealing their substantial repertoire of ten songs and their plans to embark on a joint tour.

“Without a doubt, it’s Chris. We’ve got about ten songs together. We were even planning to go on tour together.”

Davido further expressed his desire to work with American R&B sensation SZA and Latin Pop superstar Bad Bunny.
