According to Soccernet, Victor Osimhen, the striker for Napoli, has requested that the club include a release clause in any future contract he signs.

Last season, the 24-year-old contributed 26 goals to help Napoli secure the Serie A title, and he also scored five goals as the team advanced to the Champions League quarter-finals.

Osimhen’s impressive performances have attracted interest from prominent European clubs such as PSG, Chelsea, Manchester United, and Bayern Munich.

Despite Napoli’s desire to extend his contract, Osimhen wishes to maintain flexibility and will only commit to an agreement that includes a release clause. His current contract is set to expire in June 2025.
