Ahead of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games qualifier, Barcelona Femeni Forward, Asisat Oshoala, Michelle Alozie, goalkeeper Chiamaka Nnadozie and other invited Super Falcons stars were expected to arrive in Addis Ababa, yesterday.

Speaking with The Guardian during the weekend, the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) disclosed that the players were all expected to have arrived in Addis Ababa, yesterday, to begin preparations for the game today.

NFF Director, Media, Ademola Olajire, maintained that Randy Waldrum, Super Falcons’ Manager, would travel straight from his United States’ base to the camp, just as all the Europe=based stars would jet to the East African country from their bases.

“The foreign-based players will fly direct to Addis Ababa and everyone must be there by Sunday. The match is on Wednesday, October 25th,” Olajire said.

According to reports, CAF has appointed Togolese referees for the encounter, which decisive leg will hold at the MKO Abiola Stadium, Abuja, six days later.

Ethiopia eliminated Chad in the first round of the Olympics qualifying series, while the Falcons drew a bye.
