In the Lagos State High Court situated in Ikeja, Justice Hakeem Oshodi, the presiding judge has issued a firm warning against the use of charms in the courtroom.

This caution comes in the aftermath of the commencement of the trial of five men charged with the murder of Ifeanyi Etunmuse on Monday, November 20, 2023.

Expressing concern about a talisman discovered after the previous adjourned date, the judge emphatically stated,

“No one should leave charms in my courtroom. It should not be repeated. Do not leave your property here again. It does not work anymore.”

The case has been adjourned until February 19, 2024, for the continuation of the trial.
