On Saturday, the Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA) carried out the demolition of the UTC Shopping Complex situated in the Garki area of Abuja, as captured in photographs.

Shop owners expressed their dismay as the Joint Task Force of the FCTA arrived in the early hours of Saturday, preventing them from removing valuable items from their shops prior to the commencement of the demolition.

Despite being directed to relocate to an alternative complex, the affected individuals claimed they had not been notified about the demolition in advance.
