Champions of the Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL, Enyimba have declared Chibuike Nwaiwu wanted.
David Orji, media manager of the People’s Elephant in a statement sstated that Nwaiwu has been away from the club without authorisation from the management.
The team claimed that Nwaiwu is a bonafide player of the club as he still has an existing contract and has not been released or freed to join any club.
The Aba giants also stated that Nwaiwu has violated his contractual responsibilities to the club, and as a result, they will initiate disciplinary actions against him.
Nwaiwu transferred to the Aba giants from their regional competitors, Heartland, in January 2022, and has consistently been a key player for the team ever since.
