President Tinubu commends prof. Uchegbu on her new role as Wolfson’s College President

President Bola Tinubu has offered his congratulations to Professor Ijeoma Uchegbu, a Nigerian-born expert in Pharmaceutical Nanoscience and a distinguished researcher, who has recently been elected as the President of Wolfson College—one of the esteemed 31 colleges affiliated with the University of Cambridge.

In a statement released on Sunday, Tinubu’s spokesman, Ajuri Ngelale, conveyed the announcement.

In celebrating Professor Uchegbu’s remarkable achievement, President Tinubu commends her as an,

“outstanding accomplishment and praises her for being an excellent ambassador for the country and for her relentless efforts to advance the frontiers of pharmaceutical science.”

He further acknowledges her as an epitome of the “ingenuity, brilliance, and hard work” consistently associated with the Nigerian people, both at home and abroad.

Expressing best wishes for Professor Uchegbu in her pivotal new role, President Tinubu infuses his assurance to Nigerians in the Diaspora of his administration’s unwavering commitment.

He emphasizes the commitment to establishing a robust interface mechanism that not only harnesses innovative ideas but also promotes investment opportunities and strengthens bonds.

In alignment with the principles of his ‘4D Foreign Policy,’ the President affirms his dedication to building connections that transcend borders, fostering collaboration, and enhancing the global presence of Nigeria.
