According to PRNigeria, Dogo Gudali, the notorious leader of a bandit gang in Zamfara State, Nigeria, met his demise when an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) planted by his own terrorist group detonated prematurely.

The incident occurred during a clearance operation carried out by troops of Operation Hadarin Daji on the outskirts of Gando Forest in the Bukkuyum Local Government Area of the state.

A military source in the North West revealed that the IED was originally intended to target the troops but malfunctioned, resulting in the demise of Dogo Gudali, the audacious leader of the bandit group, along with some of his followers.

The source confirmed the notorious activities of Dogo Gudali and his gang, stating that they had been causing terror in areas such as Anka, Gummi, Bukkuyum, as well as parts of Sokoto and Kebbi states.
