The Immediate Past Senior Special Assistant to Governor Ifeanyi Okowa on Health Monitoring, Dr Michael Nwoko has lauded the appointment of Dr Kingsley Emu as Secretary to Delta State Government.
Nwoko in a statement released to the media, commended the Executive Governor of Delta State, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori for the meticulous and diligent appointment of a renowned Technocrat like Emu into his Government.
He affirmed that Emu as the SSG would bring advancement in the way Government business is conducted, in the sense that he possesses the right credentials to turn things around in the State.
The man known as the Political Oshobe, further acknowledged that Emu’s impeccable experience and tested capacity would help to eliminate bureaucratic bottlenecks within the system and then advance due diligence in doing Government business.
He stated, “It is a welcome development knowing that a thoroughbred Technocrat has been appointed as the engine room of the administration of Governor Sheriff Oborevwori.
“I am particularly happy knowing that Emu would deploy his academic prowess and administrative acumen to turn things around.
“I congratulate him dearly as he begins to carry out his assignment as Secretary to State Government. In the same vein, I commend the Governor for making the right choice towards repositioning Government in a way that will serve the totality of the interest of Deltans”, Nwoko submitted.
