In a bid to ensure inclusion and harmony in Osun State, President Muhammadu Buhari has called on all citizens and residents of the state, particularly the notable sons and daughters, to give their support to the administration of Governor Ademola Adeleke. This call comes after the Supreme Court upheld Adeleke’s victory as Governor of Osun State in the July 2022 elections.
The President emphasized the need for the people to feel the impact of good governance and urged the state’s political elite and their supporters to work together for the progress of the people in a peaceful environment. Buhari expressed his trust in Adeleke’s administration to fashion programmes, policies, plans and aspirations that would make individuals and businesses flourish and succeed.
He also commended the people of Osun State for their contributions to the development of the nation and for the state’s rich cultural heritage and tourist attractions. President Buhari expressed confidence that the government will continue to develop the abundant resources in the State of the Living Spring, complementing the roles of the government at the Centre of national development and prosperity.
