Senator Ned Munir Nwoko, representing Delta North senatorial district, has issued a congratulatory message to Governor Sheriff Oboroweri following the recent decision by the Delta governorship election petition tribunal to uphold his victory as the Governor of Delta State.

In his message, Senator Nwoko commended Governor Oboroweri’s leadership style, describing it as marked by a liberal nature. He went on to acknowledge the remarkable success achieved by the Governor in the short time since his inauguration, highlighting that Governor Oboroweri is following in the footsteps of his predecessor, Senator Dr. Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa.

Senator Nwoko expressed his belief that Governor Oboroweri’s commitment to progress and development will continue to benefit the state. He also reiterated his readiness about working alongside the Governor to build on these achievements for the betterment of Delta State.

The Delta governorship election petition tribunal, on Friday, September 29, upheld the March 18, governorship election victory of Governor Sheriff Oborevwori of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), dismissing the petition filed Ovie Omo-Agege of All Progressives Congress (APC), on the grounds of lack of merit.
