A tragic incident occurred on Sunday morning when an 18-seater bus collided head-on with a truck in the Agemowo area along the Lagos-Badagry Expressway.

According to PUNCH, the collision took place at around 8 am, resulting in the unfortunate loss of life for all the passengers and the bus driver. Additionally, a motor boy in the truck also lost his life in the accident.

Investigations revealed that the driver of the commercial bus, which had departed from the Yaba area of Lagos and was en route to Benin Republic, attempted to overtake another vehicle. Unfortunately, he lost control of the bus, leading to the collision with the oncoming truck.
