In a shocking incident, a school owner has been apprehended on charges of sexually assaulting a 4-year-old pupil.
The accused, identified as the Principal of Great Leaders International School in Delta State, stands accused of using a pair of scissors to tear the child’s hymen to allow him penetrate her.
The distressing incident came to light when the young child returned home and complained of pain to her mother. Upon inspection, her mother observed signs of bleeding in the child’s genital area.
In response to the gravity of the situation, the school principal was arrested and placed in handcuffs, following the child’s mother’s involvement of the police.
Disturbingly, reports on Twitter suggest that the principal’s legal representative is attempting to persuade the girl’s mother to resolve the matter privately.
